Onkyo Japan Launches High-end CD Player And DLNA Amp In Japan


Onkyo has rolled out the C-7030 CD player and matching TX-8050 DLNA amplifier for the Japanese market. Available only in Silver, the Onkyo C-7030 CD player features the company’s unique VLSC technology for pulse noise reduction. The player also supports MP3 and WMA CDs. The Onkyo TX-8050 is a DLNA 1.5 compatible amplifier, which is able to stream internet radio and produces a 130W x 2ch maximum output at 6-Ohm. This new amplifier is also fully compatible with iPod and iPhone via Onkyo’s dedicated USB dock. Additional specs include the WRAT technology and 32bit Texas Instrument Aureus (DA8x digital audio processor) audio processor. The Onkyo C-7030 CD player and matching TX-8050 DLNA amplifier are priced at 37,800 Yen ($447) and 58,800 Yen ($696).
