HP’s CEO Leo Apotheker has confirmed at the most recent HP Summit that the TouchPad would be available starting June 2011. This gadget will be released in the US first, with global availability to follow shortly. As a reminder, the WebOS 3.0-powered tablet has a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768) multi-touch capacitive display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, a 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, an accelerometer sensor, a light sensor, A-GPS (3G modes only), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 6300mAh battery.
