Olympus LS-7 And DS-800 Linear PCM Voice Recorders

Olympus has unveiled a couple of new linear PCM voice recorders in Japan, the LS-7 and DS-800. The Olympus LS-7 comes equipped with a 24bit/96kHz Linear PCM (WAV) recording mode and the Olympus DVM technology, allowing you to fine tune your recording direction. The LS-7 supports WMA and MP3 files and provides a 4GB of internal memory, which is expandable via a microSD/SDHC card slot. The Olympus DS-800 has a 16bit/48kHz Linear PCM (WAV) recording mode, a microSD/SDHC slot, a 4GB of internal memory and supports WMA or MP3 files. Both Olympus LS-7 and DS-800 linear PCM voice recorders will be launched next month for 24,800 Yen and 22,800 Yen, respectively.
